Fair Share Trust

The Fair Share Trust makes sure money for good causes from the National Lottery is distributed fairly. Banwell, Pill and parts of Weston super Mare have received less money in grants from the National Lottery than the average for similar areas.

We are working with Fair Share Trust to get more funding to groups in Banwell, Pill and Weston super Mare. But it's not just about funding applications. Successful applicants for funding have to show they are well run, properly constituted, can manage their finances and have policies in place covering things like health and safety for their volunteers. So as well as funding advice we can help with all the other things groups will need for successful grant applications, including:

• Constitutions - the legal framework for your group
• Setting up a charity
• Health & Safety policies
• Risk Assessment policy and practice
• Insurance
• Recruiting and managing volunteers
• IT advice and support
• Training
