Fair Share Trust
The Fair Share Trust makes sure money for good causes from the National Lottery is shared out fairly. Banwell, Pill and parts of Weston super Mare have received less money in grants from the National Lottery than the average for similar areas.
This is because Voluntary and Community Groups in Pill have made fewer applications to National Lottery funding programmes, or have been less successful at getting funding for their projects.
Voluntary Action North Somerset exists to help voluntary and community groups. We are working with Fair Share Trust to help groups in Banwell, Pill and Weston super Mare to offer help on:
- Grant Applications
- Setting up a Charity
- Community Groups
- Social Enterprises
- IT Advice and Support
- Training for Groups
- Health & Safety
- Risk Assessment
- Legal Advice for groups
- Recruiting Volunteers
