Trustee (Safeguarding Lead) – Trustee since 2025

Helen has nearly two decades of experience in the voluntary sector across Scotland, London, and Bristol. Her career spans outreach, fundraising, and grant-making roles across both large and small charities. Currently working with Home-Start Bristol and South Gloucestershire, Helen also volunteers with Smart Works and Citizens Advice. She was drawn to VANS through its strategic work across the sector and its commitment to supporting those affected by domestic abuse.
