VANS is the infrastructure support link for the Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) sector across North Somerset.  

 

We have three overarching functions:

Support for the third sector:

  • Volunteering management
  • Funding
  • Representation
  • Sector leads

VANS leads on

  • Volunteer recruitment,
  • Coordination
  • Management in formal settings like children’s centres and community health.

Our facilitated projects:

We focus on gaps in community services that existing organisations can’t address.
